Noni Tips General Use

Noni products color variations

We get a lot of questions about the natural color variations of our noni products. Some of you have expressed concern that a different color fruit leather or lotion means a batch isn’t as potent or as fresh. This isn't true at all.

First of all, our organic noni products (Noni Fruit Leather/Lotions/Noni Biobandage) have a two year shelf life, not refrigerated. You may refrigerate if you so desire, but it’s not necessary to maintain freshness. We only deliver the freshest products!

I would not recommend leaving noni products on the dashboard of your car in the sun, however, but it’s not because they will “go bad.” It’s because they are a raw food, and heat destroys beneficial compounds and potency. UV rays can also darken the color, so you might want to leave your noni lotion in a cool, dark space (cabinet or refrigerator).

Color variations you notice right away after shipping have nothing to do with freshness or potency. When the drying process starts, the noni pulp is very white to light tan in color. During the drying process, the pulp will change color, anywhere from light amber to dark brown.

The IcyHeat Noni Lotions are always lighter than the Noni Lavender Lotions due to the added menthol crystals and camphor oil, which naturally lighten the color of the final lotion.

We have no control over how the color changes during drying, and we refuse to add anything to change the color. We want pure raw Noni!

However light or dark the noni products you get from Hawaiian Organic Noni may be, rest assured they are always of highest quality and freshness!

Noni for Mental Focus

I received this message via text regarding noni fruit: “Does Noni give you clarity of thought – better mental focus? I definitely notice better mental function after taking my daily Noni Fruit Leather.” I replied back that research has shown that Noni gives you clarity of thought and current research has shown Noni even has the ability to address dementia. What about depression when stuck in the long lines shopping or driving? One of the non-essential amino acids in Noni is 'GABA,' which aids in the body’s response to stress and anxiety by slowing down the neurons that cause muscle tension, high blood pressure, fatigue, etc. Studies have shown that Noni can aid in increasing GABA levels; thus reducing stress and even acting as a natural sedative for those sleepless nights.

Noni for Immune System

The true traditional use for thousands of years by Polynesians and Hawaiians, was to eat the raw fruit as a preventative - to boost the immune system and keep from getting sick. Remember the old saying, "an apple a day keep the doctor away"? From personal experience, a little Noni (2X2 inch square) everyday definitely keeps the doctor away. It gives you energy, improves digestion and addresses many persistent conditions such as maintaining normal blood pressure and blood sugar levels.

I like sucking on the Noni Fruit Leather, letting it dissolve in my mouth and get absorbed under the tongue and into the body. Or simply dissolve in warm water to make a tea with a flavoring you like and drink to your health!

Noni for Plants!

Another new use for the Noni Fruit Leather – we are always learning from you all new and amazing ways to use our Noni. A lady called to order more Noni Fruit Leather and shared her new experience. “She had been trying everything to control Powdery Mildew fungus on her very old and favorite Jade plant. Nothing worked. She decided to mix the Noni Fruit Leather in water and spray on her Jade plant. It worked - Got rid of the Powdery Mildew!”
That’s a new one for me but makes logical sense. Noni is naturally anti-bacterial and anti-fungal. So why not get rid of fungal problems on plants?
